Decarbonization and the circular management of resources are becoming increasingly more important to the ecological transition of hard to abate industries. This is precisely what the CCS4CER project (https://www.ccs4cer.it/) focuses on. With a particular focus on the ceramic sector, the project aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through new plant and technological solutions, while also valorizing spent lime, currently the only waste stream generated by the ceramic industry.
