This instrument is used to measure the resistance of surfaces to dirtying and also the resistance to scratches caused by wet or dry abrasion, simulating daily wear due to cleaning or general use.

Technical features of the instrument

The equipment is Model 494, Erichsen Testing Equipment (DE).
It is equipped with different brushes, cloths and accessories to simulate both daily and extraordinary cleaning operations, as well as carry out accelerated ageing tests.
