These days are ending the activities concerning the Project eBIM “Existing Building Information Modeling for the management of existing building”, co-financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region in the framework of the POR-FESR 2014-2020 call and of which Centro Ceramico is partner.
To illustrate the results of eBIM to manufacturers, designers and other interested operators, a webinar will be held on Friday Jan. 21st, from 10 to 12:30. The event has been organized with the cooperation of all the partners of the Project.
The Project eBIM has allowed to develop skills, models and solutions relating to the conservation and enhancement of the built heritage through the use of the BIM methodology implemented on dedicated IT platforms, identifying and characterizing the materials that compose it (from the envelope, to the structure, to the cladding). Among the different building materials, particular insights were dedicated to ceramic tiles and bricks, their role and intended use in construction, for their digitization and their use in BIM models on an open standard platform, assuming as refer to the specific regulations relating to these products, developed by Confindustria Ceramica.
