Gradient kiln
This electric gradient kiln is made up of six independent chambers, which allow the simultaneous firing of 6 samples, at 6 different temperatures, with firing rate of 20 ° C from each other. It is equipped with a regulator that allows the setting of different firing cycles, depending on the requirements.
Technical features of the instrument
- setting firing cycles up to the maximum temperature of 1280 °C
- setting different temperature gradient, up to 60 °C/min
- simulation of firing cycles for porcelain stoneware, single-firing and annealing
- setting of cycles suitable for the firing of new mixes containing recycled materials.
Services to industry
- drawing of vitrification curve, with survey of shrinkage and water absorption at 6 different temperatures
- firing of specimens with dimensions suitable for the determination of color – color coordinates.
