Newsletter No. 2 of the Project MImeSIS “Smart, Sensored and Sustainable materials for historical buildings” has been released, which shows the strong dissemination activity carried out during the latest international and national “on air” events. Despite the difficulties encountered by the research during this period, the different parallel activities carried out by the Project partners continued, concerning the formulation and characterization of mortars and plasters, identification and acquisition of sensors, choice of the type of optical fibers to be integrated into the reinforcement. In addition, various types of tests were carried out.
The project has a partnership made up of 5 Research partners (CertiMaC, Centro Ceramico, Cnr-Istec, CIRI Center of the University of Bologna and Sis.Ter) and 7 Industrial partners (Litokol, La Banca della Calce, Sgubbi italiana, Kerakoll, Leonardo, Tenenga, Sestosensor).
