The PEI abrasimeter is a device for the determination of the resistance to abrasion of glazed ceramic tiles. The test is carried out by locking the sample on a rotating and oscillating tangentially plate,with a specific support containing an abrasive charge composed by calibrated stainless steel spheres, distilled water and corundum grain size F80.
The device is calibrated according to the Standard EN ISO 10545-7.
