The first major event in the presence of the ECOSISTER project, the Community Day, was held on May 4, 2023 at the CNR in Bologna; the President of the ECOSISTER Foundation, Prof. Maurizio Sobrero, Dr. Fabrizio Cobis, the Minister of the Ministry of University and Research, and Vincenzo Colla, Councilor for Economic Development and Green Economy, Work and Training of the Region took part.
Thanks to its extensive partnership, organized in thematic Spokes, the project aimes to support the ecological transition of the regional economic and social system through a process that transversally involves all sectors, technologies and skills.
At the event, the main research lines and case studies aimed at the sustainable transition of the ER Region were illustrated; in particular, the activities of the Centro Ceramico (in collaboration with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) were mentioned, relating to the development of cool tiles with a high content of recycled material and/or local raw materials, and the study of the energy KPIs of the ceramic tiles production process.
