Centro Ceramico is an applied research centre whose activity is focused both on materials and processes; it is one of the main reference point for the scientific and technological development of the Italian and international Ceramic Industry
Its mission is to support the enterprises of the ceramic supply chain to strengthen their competitiveness, by developing innovative technologies and solutions for products and processes.
Its vision is that the synergy between scientific research and industry will be the driving force for ceramic product evolution and success.
The multiplicity of researchers expertise and the synergy with the Academic Research allows to conduct high level and high quality scientific researches, essential for progress and innovation of the industrial sector.

Thanks to its multi-year experience in the ceramic field, Centro Ceramico:
– works on several lines of research, funded by European/National/Regional research projects and/or self-funded;
– renders qualified technical-scientific assistance to enterprises interested in participate in the European/National/Regional funded research programmes to develop innovative products and processes. To this end, Centro Ceramico develops new services and ideas for industrial research and technological transfer, renders technical-scientific and administrative assistance, support the enterprises to find the most suitable funding opportunities and helps them in the stage of project proposal writing and submission and in financial reporting;
– works for enterprises commission, making available its know-how and guaranteeing the confidentiality of data and information. This kind of research is, in general, aimed at the resolution of particular and specific technical problems and is tailored to enterprises needs.
