Technical features of the instrument

The device is equipped with:

• a sample holder perpendicular to the axis of the load (295 ± 2N), which rotates on a horizontal plane at a speed of 93 ± 2 rev/min driven by a constant speed motor
• a rev counter that allow to stop the test after 22,320 revolutions, corresponding to a path of 14,000 m
• a cast iron wheel, with diameter of 50 mm (0;+1 mm) and width of 20 mm (0;+2 mm).

• determination of resistance to roulage lourd of unglazed ceramic tiles and slabs, according to Cahier CSTB 3778_V4 10/2020 Annex 5.
