In the framework of the program of meetings and seminars scheduled during the 4-days fair, Confindustria Ceramica has organized the launch of the new Project EU Life SUPERHERO coordinated by Centro Ceramico. The conference, entitled “Sustainability and performance of energy efficient roofs”, will be held on Friday Oct. 16th at 11:30 on the ground floor of the Service Center and it will also be possible to follow it in streaming.
The program includes the following presentations:
- From LIFE HEROTILE to LIFE SUPERHERO, the sustainability and performance of brick roofing, Dr. Mario Cunial – ICP
- “LIFE SUPERHERO” the European project on ventilated and breathable brick roofs, Dr. Giuliana Bonvicini – Centro Ceramico
- Ventilated and breathable roofs for cooling buildings and cities: overcoming barriers, Prof. Elisa Di Giuseppe – Marche Polytechnic University.
The EU Life SUPERHERO Project “SUstainability and PERformances for HEROTILE energy efficient roofs” aims to disseminate the results already achieved by the Project EU Life HEROTILE and increase the awareness of end users and stakeholders on the environmental benefits of ventilated and permeable roofs (VPR = Ventilated and Permeable Roofs ). Specifically, LIFE SUPERHERO aims to spread the use of VPR as an effective solution for climate adaptation and mitigation.
