Universal Floor and Tile Tester
Centro Ceramico is the only laboratory in Italy owning the device “Universal Floor and Tile Tester”.
The equipment, in addition to being included in ISO Standard Projects concerning installation membranes, allows the evaluation of the installation systems of floor coverings as a whole, thus also including the substrate. Particularly noticeable is the possibility of sizing the concrete base in large thicknesses, which approach many actual flooring schemes, as well as based on the Customer needs.
The device is also able to duplicate a crack in the concrete base, along a predetermined area over a predetermined time span, in order to observe the effects this may have on the floor assembly.
