Floor friction tester SM for slipperiness test (TORTUS floor friction tester)
The instrument allows the measurement of the dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF), according to Ministerial Decree no. 236 dated June 14, 1989 – B.C.R. Method. The determination is made dynamically, by a slider (4S rubber or leather), trailed on the surface during the test.
Thanks to its small size, the Tortus tester can be used also for tests outside the laboratory, in agreement with the Customer.
