US sonicator
The laboratory is equipped with an unltrasonic processor Mod. UP400S (400 Watts, 24 kHz) – Hielscher (D).
Technical features of the instrument
The sonicator is characterised by ultrasonic frequency of 24 kHz and is equipped with two sonotrodes. In detail:
Sonotrode H3
- maximum immersion depth: 90 mm
- tip diameter: 3 mm
- maximum amplitude: 210 µm
- acoustic power density: 460 W/cm2
Sonotrode H14
- maximum immersion depth: 90 mm
- tip diameter: 14 mm
- maximum amplitude: 125 µm
- acoustic power density: 105 W/cm2
