Performance assessment as a function of specific intended use

The package concerns the performance assessment of tiles, mosaics and other hard floor and wall coverings, as a function of specific intended use, through the following steps:

  • identification of the expected stress in the area of intended use, during the use and maintenance operations
  • identification of the required characteristics and properties (mechanical – surface and massive – thermohygrometric, chemical and safety properties), assessment of their suitability in connection with the expected stress
  • planning and carrying out of chemical, physical, mechanical and not standardised tests
  • delivery of the results.
